Manhattan Cocktail

Glass: Cocktail Glass, Chilled (or Rocks Glass, Ice)
Method: Shake and Strain

Ingredients:
1/2 oz. Drops of Sweet Vermouth
2 ½ oz. American Whiskey

Garnish: Cherry (use a Luxardo Cherry for better results)

The Classic Way (proportions have changed, but these are the ingredients):

2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
1/4 oz. Sweet Vermouth
2 1/2 oz. Rye Whiskey¹

Garnish: Luxardo Cherry
